The problem turned out to be 2 bolts in the right hand side engine mounting. So the engine had fallen down on top of the alternator, which luckily wasn't damaged. Parts = few euros Labour = over 400 euros!! The look on my face when I was told the final bill :o - Priceless! For everything else there ...
